Marmor, Se\u017eana d.d. is one of the oldest stone-cutting companies in Slovenia. It has been engaged in the extraction and processing of Karst natural stone since 1947. More than 75 years of tradition allow it to combine the new, the modern with respect for tradition, cultural and natural heritage.
The company owns four quarries (Lipica I, Lipica II, Doline, Kopriva), where work is already underway; three more sites are in different stages of exploration or opening. Its quarries produce natural Karst stone, known as Lipica Unito, Lipica Fiorito, Repen and Kopriva, for which it has the exclusive right for sale.<\/p>\n

Its own raw material enables the company to work independently of the global markets for natural stone, as the material is always available. The production itself takes place at two sites, in Se\u017eana and Lipica. The proximity of the quarries and the production units allows quick and local access to raw material.<\/p>\n

Stone from the company's quarries and workshops adorns the fa\u00e7ades of many houses, streets and squares both in Slovenia and in other European cities. It is also well known and appreciated in the Middle and Far East, the Arabian Peninsula and America.<\/p>\n
