The modernly designed Ankaran cemetery includes a memorial facility and three burial fields with a total of 180 wall cremation graves made of our natural stone Repen. We are proud that our work contributed to the realization of this exceptional project, which also received the Plečnik Award 2025 – the highest Slovenian recognition for achievements in the field of architecture. A visit to the cemetery offers a walk through a modern park environment that goes beyond the classic notions of cemeteries. It is a place where architecture removes all superfluous elements and emphasizes contact with space, nature, and peace.
